Timestamp Tools is designed as a browser-based utility. The site does not require an account, API key, Discord login, or file upload for the normal timestamp conversion workflow.
1. Information processed by the generator
The generator uses the date, time, and time zone that you enter to calculate a Unix timestamp and Discord timestamp formats in your browser. Those values are needed to produce the requested result, but the tool does not need to send them to a Timestamp Tools application server for the conversion itself.
The page does not connect to your Discord account, send Discord messages, read private servers, or access your community data.
2. Shared links and browser preferences
When a generated result is shared, the page can place the selected date, time, and time zone in the URL query string so the inputs can be restored. Anyone who receives that URL may be able to read those values. Your browser may also keep the URL in history, bookmarks, sync services, or other browser-managed storage.
The theme switch may store a light or dark preference in your browser's local storage. This preference is used to restore the interface appearance and is not an account profile. The site does not use the generator's own cookie to identify you.
3. Hosting and operational logs
Like most websites, the hosting or delivery provider may process standard request information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referrer, and request time. This information can appear in infrastructure logs used for delivery, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and reliability.
Log retention and processing depend on the providers used by the live deployment. Timestamp Tools does not use the timestamp generator to build a personal account database or sell the values you enter.
4. Fonts and external resources
The site may request fonts from Google Fonts to display its interface. Google may receive technical request information when your browser loads those fonts, subject to Google's own policies and the way the resource is delivered. Your browser may also contact an external website when you follow a link to Discord documentation or another third-party resource.
Third-party sites and services have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
5. Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
The site may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use its pages, including interaction patterns, navigation, scroll behavior, and technical performance signals. Clarity is loaded from Microsoft and may process browser, device, and interaction information according to Microsoft's own privacy practices and the configuration of this site.
Analytics data is used to improve the generator's layout, accessibility, reliability, and usability. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the tool or include sensitive information in a shared timestamp URL.
6. Your choices
- Use the generator without signing in or connecting a Discord account.
- Remove shared query values by returning to the page without the date, time, and time zone parameters.
- Clear the site's local storage or browser data if you want to remove the saved theme preference.
- Use browser controls, extensions, or network settings to limit analytics or third-party resource requests where supported.
7. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may change when the site's features, hosting, or third-party resources change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
